The brand-new hydrogen train maintenance workshop in Rovato (BS) will be equipped with a new technological gem: a latest-generation overhead crane, designed and built by Italkrane. The overhead crane is a fundamental element for the maintenance of these trains thanks to its design for an ATEX II 3G EX d IIC T3 explosion-proof area, which makes it suitable for use even in the presence of hydrogen in the atmosphere, combined with its ability to lift and handle heavy loads with precision up to a maximum capacity of 20 t.
